Loredana Nesci received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs. She moved to California where she began her legal career as a Los Angeles police officer in 1996. She was the Vice President of her class in the Police Academy. As an officer, she patrolled the Southwest District. Out of the many hair-raising experiences she had as a police officer, her most memorable was the North Hollywood shoot out. She and her partner were at the bank, opened the door for the hostages, assisted FBI agents and guarded the big bags of money that was almost stolen.
In 1998, Ms. Nesci left the LAPD to attend law school. In 2002 she graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. During law school, she worked for The Law Offices of Brian J. Woolf, in East Hartford, Connecticut, doing criminal defense work, both at the federal and state level, family law, personal injury law and civil litigation. She also worked for Spinella & Associates, P.C., in Hartford, Connecticut on police brutality cases and other Section 1983 Civil Rights cases in federal court. She also volunteered some of her time as a legal intern for the Attorney General of Connecticut, Richard Blumenthal.
After graduating law school, she stayed on with Spinella & Associates where she expanded the firm's practice to include entertainment law, a division that she headed.
In 2003, she joined Cadden, Ivers & Ivers, a popular boutique firm in Meriden, Connecticut. While there, she handled workers' compensation cases, personal injury cases, family law cases, criminal cases, civil disputes, entertainment law matters and landlord-tenant disputes. During her short time with Cadden, Ivers & Ivers, the Connecticut Law Tribune wrote a feature article on her as a legal personality and dubbed her "The Legal Diva."
In 2004, The Legal Diva returned to California and opened up shop under her own name and has grown her brand exponentially. Although Nesci still practices law in her home state of Connecticut.
Nesci’s career took a different turn in the latter part of December 2008, when Nesci was offered to host her own radio show on the local California radio station, KCAA 1050 AM. Then in 2013 the Sundance Channel greenlit, produced and aired a non-fiction television show called, “Loredana, Esq.”, which is still running on the network. She will be making more television appearances throughout 2015.
In her personal time, Nesci, a former fitness competitor, likes to practice yoga, cycle and maintain a very active lifestyle. She and her partner, Robert Reagan, have a son, Rocco Nesci-Reagan, a Doberman, named Louie, a Labradoodle named Toukie and 2 cats. In the future Nesci plans on devoting her career entirely to public service.
